Jac Dalton - Director
His entertainment background includes working with many of America’s noted celebrities (Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Suzanne Somers, etc) as well as touring the world singing and dancing in musical theatre shows where much of his concern for the plight of fellow man was awakened. Along with the good communication skills gleaned from acting, he comes from a long line of clergy who taught him to be more concerned with prudence and honesty than doctrine. Recently, Jac completed writing and producing a ground-breaking album featuring mates from some of Australia’s most successful classic rock bands – representing the first time in Australian music history that an all-star band has backed a rising artist. This is the background from whence the rallying song for LandAid, ‘Can Almost Taste the Rain’, stems.
Jac’s determination and perseverance with conceiving and launching the LandAid initiative stems from two things: growing up with family and humanitarian values recognizing need and opportunity to help those in-need - the world becoming a bit better place for the effort - and the fact that in the past year he’s taken on the responsibility of looking after the well-being of several families within his practice who have literally had to walk off the farms they’ve tilled for generations.
Water has always been THE limiting factor for every civilization and community that precedes us. Those of us who are able to make a difference in the world have the opportunity and responsibility and honor to do so. This is the mission of Jac Dalton. He as well is determined to give something back to a country that has opened its arms to an imperfect stranger; hoping to share things he’s found worthwhile and prudent enabling Australia to flourish and shine long into the future – not perish as a result of complacency or shortsightedness.
Jac’s diverse background uniquely equips him with the ability to understand what is going on in hardship areas, the depth and perception to recognize what is needed to fix the problem, and the experience and communication skills necessary to enlist and secure these necessities. Add to that his passion, tenacity and easy nature, and you’ve found an inspiring colleague.
