In 1998 Jackie was approached by The Anti-Cancer Foundation SA (now The Cancer Council SA) to organise and run their annual Doorknock Campaign. This 5 month contract was the start of an on-going commitment to the not-for-profit sector that continues today.
Since then Jackie has:
Organised and run 2 Daffodil Day campaigns for The Cancer Council South Australia.
Launched and ran the Cancer Council’s inaugural “Relay for Life” event in South Australia at Santos Stadium – as well as the first regional Relay for Life in SA.

Jackie continues to volunteer and assist not-for-profit organisations where time permits, in between the challenges of running a business, a family and continuing to organise major events, as well as completing a postgraduate degree at UniSA.
