Kate has a broad ranging business career and brings expertise in strategic planning, business development, sales and marketing to LandAid. This is combined with over fifteen years executive experience with a Top 100 public listed company, in the private sector and with two of Australia’s leading not-for-profits.

Kate’s leadership roles include senior sales and marketing positions with the Myer Department Store Group, Laubman and Pank Optometrists and the Detmold Packaging Group. In 2005 she made a career choice to join the not-for-profit sector to use her skills to ‘make a difference’ and was fortunate to lead the business development function for Cancer Council SA and work at both a State and National level.

Kate is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Guide Dogs SA.NT, joining them in 2009. Guide Dogs SA.NT supports individuals living with a sensory disability, and children living with Autism, right through the heart of Australia, from the southern most point of South Australia to the top of the Northern Territory.

Kate holds a Board position with Minda Inc and has held previous positions on the Vocational Education and Employment Board, the Training and Skills Commission and numerous Board committees.

Kate holds a Diploma in Applied Science, Diploma of Retail Management, Master of Business Administration and the Company Directors Course Diploma (GAICD).

Kate has a passion for creating a positive organisational culture aligned to organisational purpose and strategic objectives and enjoys finding creative, sustainable business solutions.
