Kay is a trained journalist and has shined for most of her professional career in the public sector working in marketing and public relations.

Her most recent position was General Manager - Communications and Marketing with Primary Industries and Resources SA (PIRSA). In August 2004 Kay left the public service and was appointed the Rural Financial Counsellor for the Mid North region until she commenced as General Manager - RFCSSA Inc in September 2006. Kay’s considerable experience in Senior Management in the public sector enables her skills to transfer easily across to LandAid Ltd as a Trustee.

She has worked in a number of overseas countries including, USA, United Kingdom and Ghana in West Africa. Kay is a Director of several boards including Regional Development Australia and the Energy Industry Ombudsman Scheme.
